Self Portrait

The colours and softness of the chalk compare with the hard certainty of the graphite line.It is always a battle for me to get the image. Michaelangelo said the piece is already there, its just a matter of finding it. In the end it is the hand, the body, a universal image we all share, that reveals itself.
