Set-ish

Oil painting channelled from my Egptian ancestors – can only be – Set (ish) was the god of disorder, violence, desert and storms which is quite apropriate for these times.

Often depicted as a mythical composite rather than a real animal, in the same way my this painting is only an imagined creature…my knowledge looked it up as an Egyptian god rather than anything prescribed. And it looks like a Pteradactyl too.

The human mind wants so much to be defined by order. ..to have a firm and true account, when there is none.
