I tried to Climb into You

I tried to Climb into You is a painting about the desire to be a part of the one you love. And simultaneously the separation of the child. Some say it looks like a blowjob and while this makes me laugh and happy if there is an erotic element, the vulnerability of the standing form may indicate something else… and then again maybe not. My paintings are nothing if not ambigious and therein lies the continued pleasure gained from the neverending readings one can make of them.
