SARTORI 2014  Performed inside the James Turrell’s ‘Skyscape’ at Tremenheere Sculpture Garden; sewing machine, business cards, chalk, beetroot, chopping board, knife, charcoal, photocopied paper, stones, ribbon, sugar, Sartori is a play on words illustrating the contradictions between dressing up (sartorial) and Eastern ideals of enlightenment (Satori). Inspired by the intention of making a disharmonious sound/energy (that of the sewing machine) inside the perfection of the art piece. The performance raised questions on  enlightenment versus motherhood and everyday work.
